Rendezvous is a private, by-application introductions service. This notice explains what we gather about you, why we hold it, and the rights you have over it. We collect only what is needed to make a thoughtful introduction — and nothing more.
What we hold
- Your name, contact details, and a verified portrait.
- Your responses to our questionnaire, and notes from your conversations with the Curator.
- Information you choose to share about your work, your life, and what you are looking for.
- Standard technical signals — device, approximate location, time of access — used to keep the service safe.
Why we hold it
- To consider you for membership and to make introductions.
- To communicate with you about your introductions, your account, and matters of safety.
- To uphold our community standards and prevent misuse.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Who sees it
Your information is seen only by the Curator, by trusted members of the Rendezvous team bound by confidentiality, and by the carefully chosen technical providers that allow the service to operate (hosting, identity verification, payments, communications). We never sell your information. We never share it for advertising.
What you can do
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to remove you and erase your record.
- Withdraw your consent to be considered for introductions, at any time.
These requests can be made from your account settings, or by writing to us at the address below. We respond within thirty days.
How long we keep it
While you are a member, and for a short period afterwards to meet our legal obligations. Once that period passes, your record is permanently removed.
